Justin Timberlake's lawyer on singer's recent arrest
Justin Timberlake's lawyer says his legal team is looking forward to "vigorously defending Mr. Timberlake" against allegations of drinking and driving.
Justin Timberlake's lawyers are preparing to defend the singer following his recent arrest.
On June 19, the office of attorney Edward Burke Jr. said in a statement shared with TMZ that they look forward to "vigorously defending" the star.
"I look forward to vigorously defending Mr Timberlake on these allegations," Burke told the publication.
He added that he can't go into much detail at the moment.
"I will have a lot to say at the appropriate time but am currently awaiting full discovery from the District Attorney's office."

The singer was arrested just after midnight on Monday.
He reportedly ran a stop sign and failed to stay on the right side of the road.
According to several media outlets, the 43-year-old was arrested on suspicion of driving while intoxicated east of New York City.
"Upon investigation, it was determined that Mr. Timberlake was operating his vehicle in an intoxicated condition," police told reporters.
Timberlake spent the night in jail and was released the following day.
Timberlake has previously opened up about getting drunk.
In a 2006 interview with the Observer Music Monthly magazine, the singer admitted to previously using drugs.
“What I really think is that I’ve never done anything that bad,” he told the Observer Music Monthly.
“I don’t show up drunk to functions; the drugs that I do have been in my own private time. I’ve never been arrested — though that’s not to say that I won’t. It’s just that I make sure there are no cameras around,” he said.
His next court appearance is scheduled for July 26 and it will be held virtually. The date coincides with the start of his world tour at the Tauron Arena in Krakow.
