Lira performs in front of thousands - "It was MAGIC"
Lira recently performed in front of thousands of people at the Bassline Fest. The singer described the experience as "magic". This comes after her music career was put on pause after she suffered from a stroke.
Thousands of people were entertained by Lira as she performed at the Bassline Festival this past weekend.
The event was held at Constitution Hill on 25 May.
The singer shared short clips from her performance.
In the videos, many people can be heard screaming her name in excitement.
Lira wore a stunning golden yellow outfit designed by Scalo Designer.
She performed some of her hit singles.
The award-winning star described the experience as "magic".
"It was MAGIC," she captioned her post.

The performance comes after Lira shared how emotional it was for her to perform on Mother's Day alongside Maleh.
She shared that her performances have improved over the past weeks.
"Remembering Mother’s Day: I was emotional when I saw how many people came to the show. Thank you so much for showing me LOVE!!! I had so much FUN. @maleh_music you were AMAZING 🤩- we need to do it again!!!!I’ve improved again since last week … I can’t wait to see you at the #BasslineFest 25 May 2024 at ConHill," she wrote last week.

Lira suffered a stroke in 2022 while in Germany for a show.
The stroke affected her ability to communicate and she had to learn to speak again.
"I am recovering well. Physically, I have been unaffected, I am strong and healthy. The stroke has unfortunately affected my speech, however, I am making lots of progress every day," she told her fans months after the stroke.
Lira can now speak well again and she continues to perform in different parts of the country.
