Makhadzi celebrates being named Spotify's Equal Africa ambassador

Makhadzi has achieved another great milestone!
The singer has been announced as Spotify's Equal Africa ambassador for the month of September.
The streaming giant uses the initiative to highlight the voices of African female artists who are breaking down barriers and making waves in music, helping to expose their music to a worldwide audience.

Makhadzi joins the likes of Tyla, Elaine, and Khanyisa.
The singer took to Instagram to celebrate. She also took a moment to highlight the importance of believing in yourself and waiting for your time.
"The key is to believe in yourself and wait for your time. If you believe in your talent, then you need to trust and believe in God’s time, we know His time is always the best," she wrote.
What made the news even more special is that she was named an ambassador for the streaming giant in the same month that she will be releasing her new album, 'Mbofholowo'.
She also shared her Equal Africa ambassador cover. Makhadzi's new album features 'Jerusalema' hitmaker, Master KG, amongst other artists.
"We're dropping 3 songs each week from my Album. The support is to much as the album is already topping the charts.There are 6 songs out already. More is still coming," she wrote on Facebook.
