Mariah Carey surprises Da Brat with unreleased song, 'You Are the World's Best'

'Funkdafied' hitmaker Da Brat celebrated her 50th birthday on 14 April.
The star received a nice surprise from her BFF, the legendary Mariah Carey.
Taking to Instagram, Da Brat shared a sweet video of Mariah singing for her.
"THANK YOU to my BFF @mariahcarey for taking time from her busy schedule...HER RESIDENCY in VEGAS!!!! WOOOOO! And she out there KILLIN SH*T" she wrote.
She thanked Mariah for the lovely surprise.
"I love u Shug,❤️" she wrote.

The rapper, whose real name is Shawntae Harris-Dupart, first saw the surprise video from her BFF during a broadcast of the 'Dish Nation' show, which she co-hosts.
Mariah started by expressing how much she loves Da Brat.
“I love you so much, happy birthday. They told me the number. I don't do numbers. I don't know what it is, have no recollection of any of it,” said Mariah.
Da Brat joined Mariah and sang along to the song.
Mariah ended the video by telling her BFF she is the best.
“Just wanted to say I love you so much, you are the world's best. Kisses and love from your BFF,” she said.
“That was beautiful. Oh Sug, I love you, MC,” said Da Brat.
