Mariah Carey's 'All I Want For Christmas' song is the gift that keeps on giving. The single, which was released 30 years ago, is back at number one in America just in time for the festive season.

The song is #1 on the Billboard Hot 100 ahead of Brenda Lee's 'Rockin' Around The Christmas Tree' at #2 and Wham!'s 'Last Christmas' at #3.

According to Billboard, it's the 15th time 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' has claimed the top spot since its 1994 debut. It first returned to number one during the holidays in 2019, 2020, 2021, 2022, and 2023.

Mariah heard the exciting news onstage during one of the shows on her 'Christmas Time' tour this week.

"Last night on stage in Raleigh, North Carolina, I found out that 'All I Want For Christmas Is You' returned to #1 on the Billboard Hot 100. I couldn't have dreamed of a better time or place to celebrate the news than on stage with my amazing fans, my kids and my #Christmastime tour family. I love you and am so grateful to you all," she said.

The 55-year-old singer also shared a video of the moment she was told about her latest chart milestone.

"I don't mean to interrupt you but I just want to let y'all know we're going to give her flowers tonight because we just found out 'All I Want For Christmas' is number one on the Billboard Hot 100," a man said onstage.

The crowd starts cheering as Mariah's children, Monroe and Moroccan (whom she shares with Nick Cannon), present her with a bouquet of flowers.

"Thank you to everyone who helped make that possible. Thank you so much," Mariah said.

'All I Want For Christmas' appeared on Mariah's debut holiday album, ''Merry Christmas'. She wrote the song with American songwriter Walter Afanasieff.

In celebration of the album's 30th anniversary, Mariah released a deluxe limited edition of the album, which also comes in vinyl.

"You know, I don’t know numbers but I’m really proud to celebrate 30 years of this album. I’m so grateful to all my fans who spent many of their Christmases with these songs. The album is available now with a new remastering of my 1994 concert at the Cathedral of St. John the Divine. Hope you enjoy listening, and hoping we spend many more holidays together! Merry Christmas," the 'Butterfly' hitmaker said on Instagram.

Singer Alina Wichmann says Mariah's Christmas album is "unmatched".

"Thirty years ago, I listened to this album sitting in my school bus every morning. It was a 45 minutes drive through the Black Forest – the most amazing winter wonderland My ears couldn’t believe what I heard. All the musicality that you put on this album is insane," she wrote.

Alina added that she was enchanted every time her pink Discman would flip the CD.

"It is timeless and yet it takes me back to my childhood every year. Mariah, Christmas isn’t the same for me without you and this wonderful piece of art."
