Happy 'Mimi' Anniversary! Mariah Carey is celebrating one of her most iconic albums.

Mariah Carey's 'The Emancipation of Mimi' album reached a significant milestone at the weekend—it officially turned 20!
Carey released her 10th studio album on April 12, 2005. It produced hits such as 'We Belong Together', 'Shake it Off', and 'It's Like That'.
The album featured guest appearances by Snoop Dogg, Jermaine Dupri, Nelly, and Twista.
"Happy 'Mimi' Anniversary!! I'm excited to celebrate this one with you," the 56-year-old wrote on Instagram.
"While working on #Mimi20, I got to relive all the memories from this pivotal moment in my personal and professional life. This album has some of my biggest hits to date, as well as some personal favourites that are very special to me."
The singer is marking the album's anniversary with an "expanded deluxe releases of her modern classic".
An extended 20th anniversary digital deluxe edition of 'The Emancipation of Mimi' will debut in May.
"Arriving May 30 via Def Jam Records/UMe, the marquee release of The Emancipation of Mimi (20th Anniversary Edition) collection is a gorgeous, limited edition 5LP vinyl box set, personally compiled by Mariah to bring together the musical world she created, and continues to create, around this masterwork," a statement about the project read.
Carey has not yet released the full tracklist for the expanded deluxe edition of 'The Emancipation of Mimi'.
However, she debuted a new Kaytranada remix of 'Don't Forget About Us', on Friday.
"I love how slowing it down and smoothing it out really makes you focus on the lyrics. Emancipation of Mimi was an era," one fan said about the remix on YouTube.
Another wrote: "Mariah, this remix is totally perfect and well produced. I love you so much."
A third said, "I can’t believe this album is 20 years old. I still remember when it first came out and I rushed to the music store to buy the CD. I had this album on repeat after going home from college and would play it in my parent’s car whenever I had the chance."
Her fans are begging her to release a new album.
"All the lambs want to hear new material from you!"
