Mary J. Blige sues event organiser over unpaid $1.1-million show bill

Mary J. Blige is reportedly
suing an event organiser for still owing her $1.1-million for a 2022 show.

Mary J. Blige is the latest celebrity to cry foul dealings with an event organiser after she was reportedly not paid the agreed amount for one of her previous shows.
According to several reports published over the weekend, the RnB singer is reportedly suing a concert agent, RM Talent Agency, for not paying her the full $1.1-million that she charged for the Miami Funk Fest. The concert took place in 2022.
Blige filed the lawsuit at the U.S District Court in Florida, reports Rolling Stone.

The singer 'received $250,000 on September 20, 2022, $200,000 on November 9, 2022, and another $200,000 on January 18, 2023, leaving a remaining balance of $450,000', reports the Vibe.
Blige is not only seeking the outstanding amount, but is also seeking payment for damages, pre and post-judgment interest, as well as attorney fees.

Mary J Blige has collaborated with Diddy for his album, 'Off The Grid'.
The album will be coming out on Friday, 15 September.
Blige took to Instagram to share her excitement about the project.
"A full circle moment!! @TheRealMaryJBlige and Diddy back together again doing what we love on I LIKE!! THE LOVE ALBUM: OFF THE GRID," she wrote on Instagram.
