Miley Cyrus drops trailer for 'Something Beautiful' album
A one-of-a-kind pop era! Miley Cyrus' new music project is fuelled by fantasy.
Miley Cyrus has shared new details about her upcoming album, 'Something Beautiful'.
The 32-year-old executive produced the album with Canadian music producer Shawn Everett.
'Something Beautiful' is the singer's ninth studio album and follows 2023's 'Endless Summer Vacation'.
According to a statement, the album will feature 13 original tracks. Cyrus shared the project's artwork for the first time this week.
"Captured by renowned fashion photographer Glen Luchford, the album artwork features Miley Cyrus draped in archival 1997 Thierry Mugler couture, a striking nod to the album's bold aesthetic and visual storytelling."
Cyrus also released the official trailer for the album.
At the end of the trailer, she asks, "If I separate the body between us, will you promise that I am enough if I give you all my love?"
'Something Beautiful' debuts on May 30. She will also release the album's visual film in June.
"The film, produced by Miley, XYZ, and Panos Cosmatos in collaboration with Columbia Records and Live Nation, is directed by Miley Cyrus, Jacob Bixenman, and Brendan Walter, with cinematography by Benoît Debie."
In November last year, Cyrus told Harper's Bazaar that Pink Floyd's 1979 album and film 'The Wall' inspired her new music project.
"We really leaned in. And so I have this heart-first attachment to it. My idea was making The Wall, but with a better wardrobe and more glamorous and filled with pop culture," the 'Flowers' hitmaker said.
