Gracie Abrams has gained a new fan in Barbra Streisand.

The 'Don't Rain on My Parade' hitmaker took to Instagram this week to show Gracie some love after her appearance on 'Saturday Night Live' (SNL).

Gracie sang her hit singles, 'That's So True' and 'I Love You, I'm Sorry', which is currently number two on the CTM Top 40 with Danny Painter.

Barbra enjoyed Gracie's performances so much that she decided to publicly declare her support for the rising star.

"I just saw a wonderful new singer named GRACIE ABRAMS (@gracieabrams) on 'Saturday Night Live' this weekend and it turns out she’s the daughter of my friend JJ Abrams!" the 82-year-old said.

Gracie's father, J.J. Abrams, is an award-winning scriptwriter and director. Some of his projects include 'Armageddon', 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens', and 'Mission: Impossible III'.

Her mother, Katie McGrath, is a former public relations executive who currently works as the co-CEO of Bad Robot Productions.

Barbra is not the only high-profile musician who is a fan of Gracie. Taylor Swift is one of her biggest supporters and invited her to be an opening act for her record-breaking 'Eras Tour'

"[It was] the best experience of my life,” Gracie told Variety about opening for Taylor. "To have that become a part of my weekly routine for four months straight has bled into kind of all ways of my life, not just how joyful I feel internally, but the songs that we’ve been making.”

Gracie, who was nominated for 'Best New Artist' at the 2024 Grammys, became friends with the 'Karma' singer after getting invited to her birthday party in December 2021.

"She’s one of my favourite friends, and I love her so much," Taylor said about her during one of her shows.

The singer recorded a duet, 'Us', for Gracie's second studio album, 'The Secret of Us'. The track is nominated for 'Best Pop Duo/Group Performance' at the 2025 Grammys.
