The last time Neil performed was at the famed ballpark back on April 20 in 2013.
This was after he announced his retirement in 2008 due to Parkinson’s disease.
'The onset of the disease has made it difficult for him to travel and perform on a large scale basis, but will allow Mr. Diamond to continue his writing, recording and development of new projects,' states the Neil Diamond website.
