Olivia Rodrigo thanks Jewel for collaborating with her

Olivia Rodrigo has just completed the first leg of her 'Guts World Tour' with four nights at Madison Square Garden. 

The singer took to Instagram to express how grateful she is for the successful start to her tour.  

"4 nights at madison square garden!!! whatta way to end this leg of the tour," she wrote on Instagram.

She thanked all her fans who came out in their numbers to support her. 

"Immensely grateful for all the wonderful people who work so hard on making this show happen every night and thankful for everyone who has bought tickets and jumped and screamed and sang along with me," she wrote. 

The 'Sour' hitmaker also spoke about her collaboration with singer and songwriter Jewel. 

"Massive thanks to the magical songwriting genius @jewel for singing one of my all time favs with me the other night. See u soon europe!" she wrote. 

Jewel also took to Instagram to talk about the performance. 

"From joining #OliviaRodrigo onstage at Madison Square Garden last night for the #Guts Tour to championing mental health and creating a hologram of herself for an upcoming exhibition at @crystalbridgesmuseum, #Jewel is still here to save your soul. The two of them performed ‘You Were Meant For Me’ during the final MSG show on Tuesday. 

Rodrigo explained how Jewel's album, 'Pieces of You', has been instrumental in her songwriting. 

“She is such an incredible songwriter. When I first started writing my songs, I would listen to her album Pieces of You before I went to bed. She’s incredible and it’s such an honor that she’s here with me tonight.”
