Paul McCartney on new song: "Nothing has been 'artificially' created"

Paul McCartney has set the record straight on the band's new song, saying that "nothing has been artificially or synthetically created. It’s all real and we all play on it."
The Beatles are working on releasing a new song.
Last week, Paul McCartney announced that the new song will feature the voice of late band member, John Lennon, who died on 8 December 1980.
McCartney said this was made possible by artificial intelligence.
“We were able to take John’s voice and get it pure through this AI so then we could mix the record as you would do. It gives you some sort of leeway," he told BBC Radio 4's Today programme.
His announcement caused a lot of confusion, which he has now addressed on social media.
Taking to Instagram on Thursday, the star spoke about the new project and how excited the band is to offer their fans what he has labeled as the "last Beatles record".
"Been great to see such an exciting response to our forthcoming Beatles project. No one is more excited than us to be sharing something with you later in the year," he wrote on Instagram Stories.

However, he said fans can relax knowing that the new song is not artificially created.
“We’ve seen some confusion and speculation about it,” the musician wrote on Thursday afternoon. “Seems to be a lot of guess work out there.
“Can’t say too much at this stage but to be clear, nothing has been artificially or synthetically created. It’s all real and we all play on it."
He went on to explain how the new song was made.
"We cleaned up some existing recordings – a process which has gone on for years. We hope you love it as much as we do,” he wrote.
