Pink talks about her new album 'Trustfall'

Pink has released a new album, 'Trustfall', which she says is a compilation of different genres.
Pink has released her latest album, 'Trustfall'.
The album came out on Friday, 17 February.
"I can’t believe this day is finally here!! I have been waiting almost patiently to share my heart and soul with all of you. This album means so much to me it’s silly sauce. I hope this becomes the “I remember where I was when I listened to that album” for you. So many options, how do I choose?! Box sets, zines, vinyl. I want ‘em all," she wrote on Instagram.
In an interview with Zane Lowe, the singer spoke about how the album reminded her of her previous album, 'Missundaztood', which was released in 2001.
"I'm excited about this album the way I was excited about 'Missundaztood' because it's a body of work even though it's all kinds of genres and I think it's awesome that I can be this popstar. I'm an atheist when it comes to genres," she told Zane Lowe.
Death threats
The singer says she has had to get bodyguards because of all the death threats she has been receiving.
"I had a conversation with my daughter, kind of teary conversation because, we have security and I'm not a person that ever uses security because as my security says 'I'm not protecting her, I'm protecting you from her', but I have a lot of death threats all the time and so when you have children is like f**ck," she told Zane Lowe on Apple Music.
This is not the first time Pink has opened up about death threats.
In 2012, she spoke about the death threat she received on social media after criticising Chris Brown for his performance at the Billboard Music Awards.
The threat came after she tweeted: "One day if I lipsync, I hope I do it as well as him."
Pink is also very vocal about social injustices. She is an advocate for the LGBTQ community and works with human rights and animal rights charities.
Being family orientated
Pink says although she enjoys making music, her family is also a priority.
"Having a family was really important to me because my family life was screwed as a kid and I'm super affectionate and cuddly and goofy and just doing music wasn't enough for me. I was lonely. I was so lonely. It's a very lonely business and I really wanted to have a family and it was just as important to me as ambition," she told Zane Lowe.
"I love writing songs. I love singing songs. I love performing. Siting with a guitar is one of my favourite things I'll ever do, but cuddling with my babies and taking them camping and being dirty for three days is also one of the coolest things I'll ever do," she added.
