Will Jay-Z be releasing a new album this year? This is what his record label had to say...

Over the weekend, social media users were convinced that Jay-Z is releasing a new album.
This comes after artist and video director Hidji World teased a photo of a first-take film slate labeled, “JAY Z -2024 ALBUM”.
The post seemed as if he was working with the rapper. Not only did the post show him as director, but it also revealed Leroy Farrell as photographer.

Following the post, social media users went wild with assumptions that this meant a new album was on the way.
Roc Nation, the entertainment company owned by the rapper, commented on an NFR Podcast post written: "A new Jay-Z album is being teased for 2024."
“That’s news to us,” Roc Nation wrote.
In 2017, Jay-Z released '4:44'. The album debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart.
