Rihanna talks about her "amazing" upcoming album

Rihanna is going to be releasing a new album, but fans might still need to wait a bit.
The multi-talented singer who last released a full album in 2016 spoke about her music in an interview with Extra over the weekend.
She explained that her new music is going to be amazing and that is why there is a delay in releasing it.
“It’s gonna be amazing,” she told the publication.
“It has to be — that is the only reason it’s not out yet."
The musician said her new music must reflect her growth.
"If I’m not feeling it and I’m not feeling like it represents the evolution, the time I spent away… There should be a show of growth, right?” she added.
“I want to play, and I feel like music is a playground, and I want to have fun with it and show truly where I am at."

The 36-year-old revealed that she is not sure yet who she will be collaborating with on the new album.
"I'm not a big collaborator... It has to be very intentional, so I'll know when I have the record," she added.

Rihanna was speaking at the launch of her new Fenty Beauty Soft’lit Foundation in Los Angeles over the weekend.
She told the publication that the new Fenty Beauty Soft’lit Foundation was her biggest launch since the launch of the brand.
"This is actually the biggest launch we've had in the brand since the brand launched in 2017. This is major for us. It's a new era in foundation for the brand."
The singer explained the difference between her two foundations.
"This time, instead of the matte finish, this is more of a soft, luminescent finish, like a nice, glowy, natural-skin look," she said.
Rihanna's launch was attended by South African stars Mihlali Ndamase and Linda Mtoba.
Videos of the two stars rubbing shoulders with Rihanna did their rounds on social media, leading to them trending on X.
