This has been an eventful weekend in the world of rock, and Barney Simon has a round up of the hottest news. 

We know John Cena as a wrestling phenomenon, but would you have guessed that he can play the piano too? He recorded himself playing a cover of "Where Is my Mind?" by the Pixies, and everyone loved it.

In other tribute news, AC/DC said a heartfelt farewell to producer and former Easybeats guitarist George Young, who passed away on 22 October. 

Christmas time nostalgia will kick into high gear with the sale of an old letter written by John Lennon for $15 000. The letter is addressed to Tony Cox (who was once Yoko Ono's music producer) and his daughter Kyoko Cox.
