Sabrina Carpenter's 'Taste' makes history

Sabrina Carpenter continues to reign supreme on the charts.

Congratulations to Sabrina Carpenter, whose single, 'Taste', continues to do well on the charts.
On Monday, Billboard reported that the single 'smashed the record for the most weeks spent at No. 1 in a single year on the UK Official Singles Chart'.
It reportedly spent seven consecutive weeks at the top of the UK charts.

Alongside the success of her other singles, which also occupied the #1 spots on the Billboard charts—'Espresso' and 'Please Please Please'—Sabrina is now the 'female artist with the most weeks at No. 1 in the U.K. in a single year—ever!' reports the publication.
The single comes from the singer's album, 'Short n’ Sweet', which was released in August.
'Taste' was released as the third single from the album.
The music video for the single features in-demand actress, Jenna Ortega.

The single talks about a lover who reconciles with a woman he left to be with a side chick. Sabrina sings as the side chick.
“I heard you’re back together and if that’s true / You’ll just have to taste me when he’s kissin’ you,” she sings.
“He’s funny, now all his jokes hit different / Guess who he learned that from?” she asks the rhetorical question in the second verse.
