Selena Gomez on her admiration for musician Kurt Cobain
“I kind of got obsessed," says Selena Gomez when talking about her love for musician Kurt Cobain.
Selena Gomez is a big fan of Kurt Cobain.
This was revealed by the 'Lose You To Love Me' hitmaker while playing a trivia game about herself against a fan, Ashley, in a segment on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live'.
Kimmel asked Selena who she was obsessed with while growing up.
Although Cobain died when Selena was only two years old, the singer says she was exposed to the Nirvana frontman through her mom and she fell in love with the music..
“My mom obviously would play all kinds of music for me growing up,” the singer told Kimmel.
She then went on to explain how obsessed she was with the musician, who committed suicide in 1994.

Selena says she went as far as dying her hair to be like Cobain's.
“I kind of got obsessed and dyed my hair and cut my hair like him.”
The actress says not only did she have Cobain's posters, but she was also obsessed with his performances and documentaries.
She added that she “would rewatch his interviews" and "would watch his performances."
"I had seen his documentary like 12 times," she said.
This revelation comes after Selena released her new single, 'Love On', on February 22.
She released the music video over the weekend. It currently has five-million views.
