Shaboozey's 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' reaches big milestone

Shaboozey's smash hit, 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)', spent a whopping 27 weeks at number one on Billboard's Hot Country Songs chart in America.
The 29-year-old is now tied with Gabby Barrett's 'I Hope' for the longest run at the top of the chart in the 2020s. 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' was released in April this year as the fourth single from his album, 'Where I've Been, Isn't Where I'm Going'.
'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' was also a big hit in South Africa. The country song is currently the #12 song on the CTM Top 40 for Danny Painter.
It was also a hit in Belgium, Canada, Denmark, Norway, Ireland, and Australia. The song is the longest-running number-one on the Canadian Hot 100, spending 25 weeks at #1.
Shaboozey joined the Billion Club on Spotify this week after 'A Bar Song (Tipsy)' surpassed one-billion streams on Spotify. "The best Christmas gift ever! 🎁," he wrote on X.
The final week of 2024 has been a big one for Shaboozey. He joined music superstar Beyoncé at the NFL Christmas Gameday halftime show in Texas.
The performance, which was streamed live on Netflix, also featured Post Malone and Queen B's daughter Blue Ivy.
Both Shaboozey and Post Malone appear on Beyoncé's country-inspired album, 'Cowboy Carter'. Shaboozey features on 'Spaghettii' alongside country legend Linda Martell, while Post Malone duets on 'Levii's Jeans'.
"Merry Christmas Houston! I hope y’all enjoyed The Beyonce Bowl," Shaboozey wrote on X.
