'The Tortured Poets Department' continues to do well and the sales surpass all other albums released in 2024.

Taylor Swift continues to shine. 

Her latest album, 'The Tortured Poets Department', is reportedly the best selling album of 2024. 

According to a Rolling Stone report, the album outsold the rest of 2024’s top 10 albums combined. 

'TTPD' currently holds a 500-million stream lead, according to Luminate's 2024 midyear data report. 

The album has sold 2.474-million copies through the first half of 2024. 

Taylor's album is followed by Billie Eilish's 'Hit Me Hard and Soft'.

In April, 'The Tortured Poets Department' reached a billion streams on Spotify. The news was announced by The Guardian on Wednesday, 24 April. 

During the same month, Spotify also announced that the album was the most-streamed album in a day after its release on Friday, 19 April. 

'The Tortured Poets Department' is Swift's 11th studio album. 

It is a double album with 31 songs.

Next single from ‘The Tortured Poets Department’

On Tuesday, Taylor Nation announced the next single from 'TTPD' - 'I Can Do It With a Broken Heart'. 

"We’re so depressed we act like it’s #ICanDoItWithABrokenHeart’s birthday every day! But today is special because Taylor’s declaring it the next single from #TSTTPD!" read the statement on X. 

They also shared the cover of the single and lyrics. According to Billboard, Taylor has also released an instrumental version of the single on streaming services. 

"Lights, camera, bi*ch, listen to see the cute new cover on all streaming platforms," read the statement.
