'Telephone' 2.0: Lady Gaga hints at new Beyoncé collab

To be continued... in 2025? A new Gaga and Queen B collaboration could be on the way this year.

Are Lady Gaga and Beyoncé finally picking up where they left off?

In 2009, the singers teamed up on 'Telephone', a song recorded for Gaga's 'The Fame Monster' EP. They also recorded a Tarantino-style music video for the track.

'To be continued...' flashed across the screen as the video ended, and that continuation is finally here 16 years later.

Well, maybe. Gaga was recently in the hot seat for Vanity Fair's popular lie-detector segment on YouTube. She was asked several questions, including whether there were any plans for a follow-up to the song.

The 38-year-old replied "yes" but wasn't sure when it would happen. As for whether Beyoncé would return for part two, Gaga decided to play coy.

"Maybe."

So it is not a "yes" or a "no", but given the way she cheered Beyoncé on at the 2025 Grammys, fans are leaning more towards a positive outcome.

Gaga is currently gearing up for the release of her album, 'Mayhem', which drops on March 7.

She has already released two singles from the album: 'Abracadabra' and 'Disease'.

Her number-one song with Bruno Mars, 'Die with a Smile', also features on the album.

She shared the full tracklist this week:

1. 'Disease'
2. 'Abracadabra'
3. 'Garden of Eden'
4. 'Perfect Celebrity'
5. 'Vanish Into You'
6. 'Killah' ft. Gesaffelstein
7. 'Zombieboy'
8. 'LoveDrug'
9. 'How Bad Do U Want Me'
10. 'Don’t Call Tonight'
11. 'Shadow Of A Man'
12. 'The Beast'
13. 'Blade of Grass'
14. 'Die With A Smile' with @brunomars

No 'Telephone', but the year is young, and Gaga could possibly release a deluxe album with bonus tracks.
