Tyla set to perform at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards
The South African star will entertain the masses at the prestigious awards ceremony which will also feature the likes of Coldplay and SEVENTEEN.
Congratulations are in order for South African star Tyla, who continues to soar.
The singer has just been announced as one of the musicians who will perform at the 2024 Billboard Music Awards.
She shared the exciting news with her fans on social media, announcing that they could watch the performance broadcast on December 12.
"Tygers, you ready? 🔥🐅. Don’t miss @tyla’s #BBMAs performance debut → Thursday, Dec. 12 at 8pm ET on @foxtv + @amazonfiretv and stream after on @paramountplus!," she captioned the post, which included a video from the BBMAs.

Other performers include Coldplay and SEVENTEEN.
Tyla is nominated for eight Billboard Music Awards, including Top R&B Artist, Top R&B Female Artist, Top Afrobeats Artist, Top R&B Album, Top R&B Song, and Top Afrobeats Song.
In November, Tyla celebrated 'Water' making history on the Billboard US Afrobeats Songs.
The song became the first solo in history to spend an entire year at #1 on the charts.
The recent news about her performance at the BBMAs comes after the singer's 'TYLA' album made it onto Rolling Stone magazine's '100 Best Albums of 2024' list. It is #6 on the list.
The album, released in March, features songs such as 'Water' and 'Truth or Dare'.
It has made Tyla a household name in different countries around the world.
