The Voice SA's Tasché Burger wows with beautiful rendition of 'Hillbrow'

Johannes Kerkorrel is a South African musical legend and if Tasché carries on singing like this, she’ll be too.
At the start of 'The Voice SA', Tasché Burger's blind audition stunned the judges with her powerful rendition of Koos Kombuis’s seminal Afrikaans song, 'Lisa se Klavier'.

And it seems that Burger has captured the nation - once again - with an emotional performance of Johannes Kerkorrel's 'Hillbrow'.

'The Voice SA' coach, Riana Nel, praised Burger after her performance, saying that she is one of few who can sing and bring a lot of emotion to a song. "I had goosebumps all over my body. This song is poetry, it's art. It's something so heartfelt and memorable to all of us. Well done!" she added.

Burger secured a spot on Francois van Coke's team and is one of the favourites to walk away with the title of 'The Voice SA' winner 2019.
