Watch: Ed Sheeran surprises Boston kids with performance

Ed Sheeran surprised students at the Boston Music Project by performing some of his biggest hits.

Ed Sheeran surprised young musicians in Boston over the weekend.
Students at the Boston Music Project where gathered on Saturday for an outdoor performance when Sheeran made a surprised visit.
The multi-award-winning star sang hits such as 'The Hills of Aberfeldy' and 'Eyes Closed'.

This was ahead of his show at the Gillette Stadium on Saturday evening.
Sheeran took to Instagram to say how much he enjoyed performing for the students.
"Morning off in Boston so went to surprise this kids music group, was so fun," he wrote.

Later that evening, Sheeran performed at the stadium for his second show.
The Mathematics Tour show was attended by 70,000 fans, according to United By Pop.
John Mayer and Little Big Town opened the show for the superstar.
Mayer performed on Friday, while Big Town took the stage on Saturday.
Mayer replaced Khalid, who was involved in a car accident a week before the show.
