Will Smith debuted his new song, ‘You Can Make It’, at the BET Awards featuring Sunday Service Choir, Kirk Franklin, and Chandler Moore.
For months, Will Smith was rumoured to be working on new music.
The rumour was finally confirmed over the weekend when the singer debuted ‘You Can Make It’ at the BET Awards.
Smith was joined by the Sunday Service Choir, Kirk Franklin, and Chandler Moore for an electrifying performance.
The singer's new song is nothing short of inspirational.
"I don't know who needs to hear this right now, but whatever is going on in your life right now, I'm hear to tell you, you can make it," he started by saying before starting the performance at the award ceremony.
You are in the smoke and the fire/ Tight rope on the wire/ I see you’re broken and tired/ And all your hope is expired/ You’re just done with the change and the games and the shame/ And the world is insane, all the pain from the flames,” Smith rapped while standing in a ring of fire.
BET shared a short snippet of the performance.
"Will Smith returns Home! The comeback is always bigger than the setback. Oscar Winner and our past BET Awards host takes the stage. #BETAwards," read the post from BET.

He released his last album, 'Lost and Found', in 2005 and he has spoken about working on a new album.

He told the publication that the new album will be the most “personal and powerful music" he has ever made.
