Jordin fails to find a love spark
Updated | By Charis Apelgren
While Jordin Sparks is enjoying a booming music career, she hasn't had the best luck when it comes to love.
A day after the news broke, Jordin took to twitter to let her fans know she is doing ok and trying to look at things with a “glass half full” perspective!
But it gets worse. Sage the Gemini, who had been pestering Jordin to reconsider their recent breakup, claims their 10-month relationship was fake and said he “wanted to stab her” at times in a leaked phone conversation.
In the audio, which was uploaded onto YouTube in February, the rapper tells ex-fiancée Curium Hurley that the American Idol alum supposedly dated him for publicity. Airing out his grievances, Sage the Gemini (born Dominic Wynn Woods) said Jordin meant nothing to him.
And if you were convinced Chris Brown and Jordin were a cute couple in No Air, Chris said it was nothing but acting. While Jordin revealed she had a crush on him since the video shoot, Chris, who was romantically linked to Rihanna at the time, made it clear that he did not reciprocate those feelings: “I heard that [she has a crush on me],” said Chris at the 5th annual Fashion Rocks show in NYC. “But when we did that video, I didn’t feel that chemistry. I didn’t feel that. When they yell action, you have to put on a certain performance, but as far as off-camera: there’s no connection.”
As if that wasn’t bad enough, he was asked if he would ever considering being in a relationship with Jordin. He just flat out said “no.” Harsh!
In an interview with Run DMC and Tyrese, Jordin shocked fans when she said sex is not something that should be saved for marriage. She said it 'just complicated relationships'.

Jordin rose to fame after winning the sixth season of American Idol at the age of 17. She’s known as the youngest Idol winner in history.
The Idol winner debuted her first single, This Is My Now, soon after the show’s May finale. Her single Tattoo preceded her self-titled debut album, which arrived in time for the 2007 holiday season. It also spawned the 2008 hit, No Air,
which featured Chris Brown and peaked at number three on the Billboard
Hot 100 chart. The collaboration earned Jordin her first Grammy Award
nomination for Best Pop Collaboration with Vocals. Her debut album is
the third-highest-selling single by any American Idol contestant, selling over three million digital copies in the United States.
Jordin will be the headline performer for the 8th
Annual Miami Beach Gay Pride Parade and Festival on Sunday, April 10.
