SANDF assisting IEC in Vuwani
Updated | By MornéJK
Police and military arrived in the troubled area of Vuwani in Limpopo on Wednesday morning to ensure that voting goes ahead without interruptions.

Our reporter, Maryke Vermaak is in the area and reported that the police and members of the South African National Defence Force have been deployed but that they would mainly play a logistical role.
"At the station at one of the primary schools that were badly damaged during violent protests a few months ago, no-one has arrived to vote," Vermaak reported.
Members of the police and military were assisting IEC officials in setting up the voting station.
