Zuma happy with IEC's readiness
President Jacob Zuma is confident the IEC is ready for the local government election on Wednesday.
Zuma was given a tour of the national results operations centre in Tshwane on Tuesday.
"I have been taken through by the IEC commissioner and have been shown very advanced infrastructure. To me it is clear, very little could go wrong.
"From the briefing I can see everything will go fine. The process is so transparent. I am very happy," Zuma said.
The president was surrounded by a large security detail.
