Universal signs Gavin Edwards
Universal Music has singed The Voice SA contestant, of Gavin Edwards and released his debut single, Sparks.
Gavin, a member of Team Bobby van Jaarsveld and firm fan favourite from his Blind audition onward, wowed audience members with his powerful performances and larger than life voice.
His single was released last week and this uplifting, anthemic single shows off Gavin’s signature voice that lead him to the final round of the hit TV show.
“I can’t explain how excited I am to be a part of the massive Universal Music family and I’m excited for what the future has in store for us. When we started brainstorming for the album and the first single, everything just started to fall into place with the single Sparks,” explains Gavin of being signed to the label.
Gavin will be going into studio in August to record his debut full length album with Universal Music set for release in late September 2016.
