Henning trial postponed
Updated | By Pieter van der Merwe
The trial of businessman Nico Henning has been postponed to 10 October after he briefly appeared in the North Gauteng High Court on Monday.

Henning, accused of masterminding his wife's murder in 2011, face charges of murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
According to Henning's attorney, Advocate Piet van Wyk, the trail was postponed because State Advocate Gerrie Nel also has to attend to Oscar Pistorius' murder sentencing, set down for next week (13-17 June).
Henning's bail conditions have also been slightly amended. Van Wyk said he is now allowed to travel to any province, but he has to inform the investigating officer in writing. He is also allowed to use his private aircraft locally, but is still not allowed to come within 1 kilometre from any port of departure.
Former police officer André Gouws and former Nigerian athlete Ambrose Monye have both been sentenced to life in prison for the murder.
Willem Pieterse and Gerhardus du Plessis, the two men hired to carry out the act, have been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
During sentencing in 2013, Gouws told the court that he was offered R1 million by Henning for the murder of Chanelle Henning.
