Updated | By Maidi Monareng
A ranger is recovering in hospital after he was attacked and injured by a buffalo in the Kruger National Park.

SanParks says ranger Don English was conducting a routine buffalo sustainable off-take exercise when the buffalo charged.
English was hit in the chest and tossed in the air.
SanParks spokesperson William Mabasa says the incident happened on Tuesday morning.
"He is still in hospital and is in a stable condition," Mabasa said.
"The animal was darted and should be fine."
The incident comes a few days before World Ranger Day on Sunday 31 July.
