Limpopo MEC Joy Matshoge dies in car crash

Limpopo MEC of Agriculture Joy Matshoge has been killed in a
car crash.
Matshoge was travelling on the N1 south near Mokopane when the crash happened on Saturday night.
Matshoge was also chair of the African National Congress Women's League (ANCWL) in the province.
She was travelling back from a league gathering at the time of the accident.
Limpopo government spokesperson Phuti Seloba has confirmed the accident happened between Mookgopong and Polokwane.
Provincial government has conveyed its condolences following Matshoge’s death.
“We express our heartfelt condolences with the family in this trying time. We ask the people of the province to support and strengthen the bereaved family.
“The province is feeling very weakened with these dark clouds hovering over our heads.”
The cause of the crash is still being investigated.
