Striking students demand to see Central Johannesburg TVET College management
Updated | By Slindelo Masikane
A group of students remained outside the Central Johannesburg TVET College in Alexandra on Wednesday, demanding to be addressed by management.
Management was nowhere to be seen by midday.
Students locked the campus gate demanding management address their grievances.
Some students want to register for the next semester, but can't due to the shutdown.
Some managed to enter the premises, but no one assisted them.
Lecturers said they were at the mercy of students and did not know when the academic programme would resume.
