WATCH as Hammanskraal residents take to the streets

Residents of Hammanskraal on Monday morning barricaded the R101 after the Red Ants swooped in to evict people and break down illegal structures.
According to police the road is closed for traffic but no injuries or arrests have been reported.
An eyewitness told Jacaranda FM news that residents set a bus alight and barricaded the R101 leading into #Hammanskraal.
Buses were burnt and cars apparently stoned as angry protesters took to the streets over the removal of shacks that were illegally erected in an area near the Jubilee Mall.
According to reports residents have threatened with a total lock down of the area.
