Updated | By Olivia Phalaetsile
As Millions of South Africans are casting their ballots in the 2016 municipal elections on Wednesday, some eligible voters decided not to vote and boycott the elections.

Speaking to Jacaranda FM news Black First Land First (BLF) activist, Lindsay Maasdorp was one of those who decided not to make their mark and says the voting system is anti-black.
A resident of Diepkloof Robert Mathopa, who has been unemployed since 2012 says he is not voting because political parties do nothing to effect change in communities.
Mathopa says the ANC leaders liberated themselves.
Others who wished to remain anonymous say voting is a waste of time.
