50 Cent apologises for accusing Megan Thee Stallion of lying about her shooting

"Now I know what happened".
50 Cent says he is planning to apologise to Megan Thee Stallion after he insinuated that the rapper lied about being shot by Trey Songz.
In 2020, after news came out that Megan had been shot in the foot by Trey, 50 Cent shared memes that downplayed the shooting. Last month, he shared a post on Instagram comparing Megan to Jussie Smollett. The actor was found guilty of staging a hate crime against himself in Chicago in 2019.
However, 50 Cent says since the Megan and Trey trial, he has had a change of heart, especially after listening to a phone conversation between Trey and Meg’s former best friend, Kelsey Harris.

In the conversation, Trey blamed his behaviour on being drunk.
“What happened happened, I can’t take it back,” Trey told Harris on the phone call.
“But I’m just telling you I’m sorry. I would’ve never did that sh*t if I wasn’t that drunk, bruh, you feel me?” Trey said.
He was found guilty of shooting Megan last month. He now awaits sentencing.
50 Cent says he will be apologising to his fellow musician, Megan.
“I’m gonna apologise to Megan Thee Stallion,” 50 Cent told Big Boy during the interview.
“I said some things, and it was because… On social media I posted things that — when she was with Gayle [King] — she said, ‘Were you intimate with Tory Lanez?’ And she said, ‘What?’ and it was like, ‘No.’ And I was like, ‘Ah, she lying.’ At that point I knew she was lying, it wouldn’t be no reason for them to be around each other," said 50 Cent during the interview.
He says following the Gayle interview, he was convinced that Megan was lying.
"From that, it felt like she was lying, to me.”
However, the phone conversation has proven to him that Megan was not lying.
"When I heard the [jail] phone conversation [between Lanez and Meg’s former best friend Kelsey Harris] … That made me feel like, ‘Oh sh–, now I know what happened.’ I’m sure that was probably what swayed people in court too.”
