Actress Simoné Pretorius shares petition to remove Bheki Cele

Well-known South African actress Simoné Pretorius shared a petition to remove Police Minister Bheki Cele from the cabinet. Pretorius said it is "time to hold corrupt and incompetent politicians accountable."

Action Society's Ian Cameron was accused of grandstanding during Police Minister Bheki Cele's address to the community when he criticized the minister for the lack of resources to fight crime in the province’s hotspots.
"Shut up! Shut up!" Cele screamed at anti-crime activist Cameron, who was then removed from the venue by the police officers.

Action Society said it will be laying four charges against Cele and police for forcibly removing its leader Cameron from the community meeting in Gugulethu.
Following the incident, 'Vir Die Voëls' actress and Miss South Africa judge Simoné Pretorius called on her followers and South Africans to sign a petition to have Minister Cele removed from the cabinet.
"I'm not always fond of talking about politics. But it truly is time to hold corrupt and incompetent politicians accountable."
Cele has defended his outburst during a heated exchange between himself and Cameron.
