Adele plays Cupid on tour opening night
Adele helped a woman propose to her boyfriend on the opening night of her world tour in Belfast on Monday.
The 27-year-old singer kicked off her concert series in Belfast on Monday (29.02.16) where she celebrated by inviting a fan on to the stage to pop the question to her partner after he said "maybe" when she proposed earlier in the day.
Encouraging the crowd to chat "Come on Neil", Adele proved successful in getting him to agree to marry his girlfriend and decided to invite herself along to the wedding.
Adele also admitted it had been a day of nerves for her before kicking off her arena tour.
According to the Daily Mirror, she said: "I woke up sounding like Arnie. My voice was so deep because I slept with the air con on my hotel room.
"My kid was being a nightmare, and then there was a spillage at Gatwick and I thought my boyfriend wasn't gonna get here - I thought the whole tour was doomed.
"I've been s***ting myself - I had severe bowel movements. But I've had an Imodium."
However, things went even better than she hoped and at the end of the show, Adele said: "I have wanted to do this for a really long time but I was too scared, but I'm at the point now where I really want to do it - this really was the best way to kick off the world tour."
