Adele's hit single reaches 1-billion streams on Spotify

Adele is breaking major records after a fifth song of the award-winning singer reaches 1 billion streams on Spotify.
'When We Were Young', which reached 1 billion streams on Spotify, is one of Adele's favorite songs but also one of the most difficult songs to sing.

Previously, Adele mentioned that one of her favorite songs are 'When We Were Young'.
In an interview with SiriusXM, Adele said the song "was based on us being older, and being at a party at this house, and seeing everyone that you've ever fallen out with, everyone that you've ever loved, everyone that you've never loved, and stuff like that, where you can't find the time to be in each other's lives."

The lyrics talk about reminiscing about memories with a loved one.
The song reached the top 10 in several countries, including South Africa. The song never received an official music video, although a version of the song was filmed at The Church Studios.

The song recently hit 1 billion streams on Spotify. This is her fifth song to achieve this.
