Alessia Cara has slammed TMZ for sharing a graphic image showing the dead body of Liam Payne.
The publication shared the news of the star's passing, accompanying it with cropped photos of Payne’s body. The images showed the late star's arm and waist, which were identifiable by his tattoos.
It went on to report: “TMZ obtained a photo showing Liam’s body on a wooden deck at the hotel with tables and chairs nearby. We’re not showing the whole body, but you can clearly see his tattoo — a clock on his left forearm, and a scorpion on his abdomen.”
Following the article, Alessia took to social media to slam the publication.
"You're gross @TMZ," Alessia wrote on X.
TMZ has since deleted the images. It edited the article and now states: “TMZ has seen a photo showing Liam’s body.”
