Amor Vittone held at gunpoint during attempted hijacking

Singer Amor Vittone is "grateful to be alive" after a hijacker held a gun to her head.
Amor Vittone is counting her lucky stars after she was the victim of an attempted hijacking recently.
The singer says she believes she was protected by an angel during the terrifying incident.
Amor was driving to Johannesburg after judging a show in Pretoria when she was confronted by an armed man at a traffic light near Diepsloot on Monday.
Amor's mother Delyse says she was on the phone with her daughter when the incident occurred.
"They smashed the front windscreen and took her handbag which was on the passenger seat. They held a gun to her head. I was on the phone with her and she started screaming. I told her 'just keep going, just drive'," she told The Juice.
Speaking to TshisaLive, Amor, who was driving a sponsored Mercedes Benz at the time, says all she could think about was her children waiting for her at home.
“The man had a gun. I could have been shot or dragged from the car. I could have been raped. I am just grateful that I still have my life. My bag and purse can be replaced but my life cannot,” she told the publication.
It's been a rough few months for the singer, who lost Springbok star Joost van der Westhuizen in February.
She broke her ankle in January, and her children have also been sick. Amor has also been in and out of court "fighting court cases".

Despite her troubles, it seems an angel was watching over her during the attempted hijacking.
Amor says when she got home she found a white feather on the seat next to her.
"I was protected by an angel, I am convinced. I was protected," she told TshisaLive.
