Amor Vittone pays tribute to Joost
Updated | By MornéJK
Springbok rugby player Joost van der Westhuizen's ex-wife, Amor Vittone, has taken to social media to pay tribute to him. Joost died in his Midrand home after a long battle with Motor Neuron Disease.
"It is with sorrow and a heavy heart that we had to say farewell to Joost. We are surrounded by family, friends and lots of love. Joost, rest in peace. Jordan and Kylie will keep you in their hearts forever. You are up in heaven without any pain. You were and still is my first love. We love you," she posted.
Joost and Amor's marriage was catapulted into the lime light in 2010 after the two decided to go their separate ways due to accusations of infidelity.

The two later buried the hatchet in the interest of their two children, Jordan and Kylie.
There has been no reaction from family or friends since the J9 Foundation confirmed that van der Westhuizen passed away.
