Anastacia has found the 'love of her life'
Anastacia has revealed she has found the "love her life" at the age of 47, and it's her "music, voice and words".
The 'I'm Outta Love' singer has stopped looking for a man to make her happy as she has realised her true passion is her singing career.
And Anastacia - who was previously married to her former bodyguard Wayne Newton - has never felt more content since realising what her musical talents actually mean to her.
Speaking to BANG Showbiz during afternoon tea at The Savoy Hotel, she said: "I've done a lot of soul searching in the last five years and I've recognised what I want and everything that I really want is happening right now. I am in love with my career and I never realised it was the love of my life. I think I was always searching for the love of my life and I never realised it was my music, my voice, my words."
The 47-year-old star - who has just released her 'Ultimate Collection' compilation - was diagnosed with breast cancer for the second time in early 2013 and made the brave decision to undergo a double mastectomy operation to remove both her breasts in order to save her life.
During her cancer battle, Anastacia wrote her album 'Resurrection' and she admits being able to put her emotions into lyrics was very much a cathartic and life-affirming experience for her.
She said: "Being an artist is a really interesting thing and I'm just really vulnerable and really honest. With me, this is not an act ... I'm an artist and I like to write about the real s**t that we go through."
