Benjamin Netanyahu meets Aerosmith, cracks a few jokes
Updated | By MornéJK
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu met Steven Tyler and the band, Aerosmith this week - and he cracked some awkward jokes.
The video of the meeting was published online and it shows Netanyahu meeting the legendary band members after they performed in Tel Aviv on Wednesday night.
They kicked off their world tour in Tel Aviv's Yarkon Park in front of an enthusiastic crowd of 50,000.
Tyler, Joe Perry, Brad Whitford and Tom Hamilton met with the Prime Minister in Jerusalem following their concert, where Netanyahu showed the guys some cool memorabilia in his office.
Then came his Aerosmith jokes.
"You don't want to miss a thing, right?" Netanyahu joked.
The prime minister showed the rockers, who last played in Israel 23 years ago, artifacts from the biblical period, including a signet ring from an official working for the biblical king Hezekiah who was named Netanyahu ben Yoash.
