Beyoncé's golden mic sells for thousands

Everything Beyoncé touches turns to gold - and then gets auctioned off for charity.
The golden microphone that Beyoncé used on her Formation World Tour has sold for $ 11 000 - or around R150 000 at a charity auction.
Tine Knowles, Beyoncé's mom, sold it at the Wearable Art Gala in Los Angeles earlier this week.
The mic was bought by a women who wanted it for her son who will be celebrating his 13th birthday this year.

"It's for my son's 13th birthday but I will be keeping it in a safety deposit box after he opens it," she told LoveBScott.com.
It's a working microphone and according to its new owner you can actually see the wear and tear where Queen B held it while travelling the world.
