Caitlyn Jenner was in 'dark places'
The 65-year-old beauty - who was known as Bruce Jenner before undergoing a gender transition - has admitted she considered suicide to escape the "struggle" of not being able to be who she really was.
She shared: "I've been in some dark places, I have been in my house with a gun and said, 'Let's just end it right there, no more pain, no more suffering'. That struggle, it's real and I've been there."
In the first episode of her new reality series, 'I Am Cait', the former Olympian's first meetings with her mother, sisters and youngest daughter Kylie Jenner are documented, with Caitlyn's chat with 88-year-old Esther incredibly emotional.
In the clip obtained by the Daily Mirror newspaper, Esther tells her daughter: "It's going to be so difficult for me to think of you as she, and say Caitlyn when I want to speak with you, or call your attention, 'Hey Caitlyn' instead of, 'Hey Bruce.' You look so much like someone in my family and I was trying to figure it out, it's not easy, it's not easy.
"But your values are always going to be the same, Bruce will still be there, you have the same soul, you have the same soul as you were born with. I love Bruce, it will never change. It's going to take some getting used to, I want to do what he wants.
"The problem before with you and I, I'm guessing this, is that you felt uncomfortable with me, we would see each other and it was like you wanted to get away."
To which Caitlyn replied: "I was an isolationist, I isolated myself from the world because I didn't fit in, I was kind of stuck in the middle. Caitlyn fits into society better than Bruce. I'm very optimistic about the future and I'm dragging you along with me."
