The Weeknd bags sixth billion-view music video on YouTube
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
Seven years after its release, music lovers are still vibing to The Weeknd's 'Call Out My Name'.

The Weeknd's 'Call Out My Name' has surpassed one billion views on YouTube.
The video achieved the feat in late March. It now has 1,000,883,946 views and counting.
'Call Out My Name' featured on the singer's 2018 EP, 'My Dear Melancholy'. The ballad peaked at #4 on the Billboard Hot 100.
His fans praised the moody heartbreak song, and some called it a masterpiece.
"I said I didn't feel nothing baby, but I lied / I almost cut a piece of myself for your life / Guess I was just another pit stop / Til you made up your mind / You just wasted my time," The Weeknd sings.
Speculation was rife that the song was about his ex-girlfriend Selena Gomez.
She underwent a kidney transplant in 2017 due to lupus-related complications. Her former best friend, Francia Raisa, ended up being her donor.
The track's goth-like music video perfectly complements its sad tone. The Weeknd, whose real name is Abel Tesfaye, is seen walking alone down an empty, darkly lit street.
'Call Out My Name' is The Weekend's sixth music video to pass one billion views:
'Starboy': 2.5 billion+
'The Hills': 2.1 billion+
'Save Your Tears': 1.8 billion+
'Can't Feel My Face': 1.4 billion+
'I Feel It Coming': 1 billion+

Luis Fonsi's 'Despacito' is at number two with over eight billion views.
'Johny Johny Yes Papa' by LooLoo Kids – Nursery Rhymes and Children's Songs, 'The Wheels on the Bus' and 'Bath Song' by Cocomelon – Nursery Rhymes feature in the top five with over seven billion views each.
