Demi-Leigh Tebow shares sweet pictures from SA baby shower
Baby Tebow is in bloom! Demi-Leigh and Tim Tebow's stunning baby shower was set up by all proudly South African local vendors.
Demi-Leigh Tebow recently visited South Africa and hosted a special baby shower for her close family and friends.
The Miss Universe 2017 winner is expecting her first child with husband Tim Tebow. The couple shared their exciting baby news in January.
"We are just so excited and so over the moon to be having a baby together. I'm so grateful because I just couldn't imagine a better life partner to do life with first and foremost. To be able to raise a little tiny human being together. I'm so grateful that Tim is my husband... that we get to do parenting together," she told People magazine.
Shortly after the announcement, they travelled to South Africa to appear at a Passion South Africa event, which was held in Cape Town on January 31 and February 1.
While in the 'Motherland', the Tebows, who live in Florida, decided to celebrate baby Tebow. Demi-Leigh's "sweet friend Berdine" helped her put together a beautiful baby show at La Motte Wine Estate in Franschhoek.
"Spending most of my time in the US, one of the hardest things is not being able to share some of life’s special moments with my friends and family back home in South Africa. I’m especially grateful for this time to celebrate Baby Tebow with some of the people that have been in my life since I was little!" she wrote on Instagram.
The 29-year-old wore a gorgeous white dress with florals designed by SA fashion designer Anel Botha.
Demi-Leigh also chose local vendors for her baby shower.
"How beautiful was this set up by all proudly South African local vendors! All of the Tebow Pack details made my heart beam."
Rolene Strauss and her husband D'Niel were among the attendees. Demi-Leigh says Strauss is a friend she looks up to.
"I'll be asking you so many questions about motherhood," she wrote about the former Miss World.
Demi-Leigh's friends Anja Lamprecht, whom she has known since Grade 8, and Stefanie Smuts, whom she has been friends with since boarding school, were at the baby show.
Smuts is also pregnant. "So special to share this season of life together," Demi-Leigh wrote.
Demi-Leigh enjoyed her time in South Africa and shared several pictures from her visit.
"Home is where the heart is, and mine is right here in sunny South Africa with my family (missing @thetebowpack of course). So grateful for this time together," she wrote in one post.
Demi-Leigh is currently in her second trimester. She is due sometime in June.
