Eben Etzebeth and his wife share sweet anniversary posts
"Happy Anniversary, my lief!" Eben Etzebeth and Anlia have been married for two years.
Springboks star Eben Etzebeth has described being married to his wife Anlia Etzebeth as the best two years of his life.
The rugby player took to Instagram this week to celebrate their second wedding anniversary. They tied the knot in a beautiful ceremony at La Paris Estate in Franschhoek, Western Cape, in February 2023.
The honeymoon phase is clearly not over for Mr and Mrs Etzebeth.
"Happy Anniversary my lief!! Dankie dat jy my die gelukkigste vrou op aarde maak!!" Anlia captioned a picture of the couple during their first dance.
Eben also shared a picture from their special day. "Beste 2 jaar van my lewe ♥️4-2-2023♥️."
The couple's fans flooded the comments section with messages of congratulations.
"Happy anniversary julle! So n mooi paarjje," one Instagram user wrote.
Another user added, "Baie, baie geluk julle!! Blessings in oorvloed!!"
Rachel Kolisi, who announced her separation from Siya Kolisi in October 2024, let the heart emojis do the talking. She shared three heart emojis to show her love for the couple.
Eben and Anlia welcomed their first child together in January 2024. A few weeks ago, they celebrated their daughter's first birthday with a Winnie the Pooh-themed party.
"Our little wildflower…" Anlia captioned a video taken during her birthday party.
In a sweet Father's Day post shared in June last year, she described Eben as the best father their daughter could ever ask for.
"Jy is die heel beste Pappa waarvoor ons dogtertjie kon vra! Dankie vir alles wat jy vir ons gesin doen.. Om hierdie hoofstuk van ouer-wees saam met jou aan te pak is die mees opwindendste, lekkerste ding ooit! We love you and cherish you!" she wrote.
