EXCLUSIVE: Couple that got engaged with the help of Adele speaks to Jacaranda FM
In 2021, Adele helped this couple get engaged. They are now finally married - and Jacaranda FM spoke to them about the moment they met Adele and the special wedding.
On Sunday, 14 November, Adele held her 'One Night Only' concert at the Griffith Observatory in Los Angeles, offering a picturesque backdrop to the wildly successful singer's hits.
The star-studded audience members for the very special concert included Oprah Winfrey, Gayle King, Lizzo, Melissa McCarthy, Gabrielle Union, Tyler Perry, James Corden, Selena Gomez, Nicole Richie, Ellen DeGeneres, Drake, Gordon Ramsay, and Leonardo DiCaprio.
The most important guests for the night however were a "regular" couple that achieved their own bit of fame when Quentin Brunson surprised his blindfolded girlfriend, Ashleigh Brunson, with a marriage proposal on stage - as Adele watched from the shadows.
"I (Quentin) was lucky to have Adele personally choose me for the opportunity to propose in front of her."
After arriving midway through, Adele helped him ask his girlfriend to be his wife and performed one of her most beautiful songs, 'To Make You Feel My Love', for them.
"Our favorite Adele song is 'Make You Feel My Love'. She sang it to us after our proposal and it was the song that Ashleigh walked down the aisle to on our wedding day!"
"It was amazing meeting Adele! She was so nice and funny! After the proposal, she brought us on stage and took a nice picture with us. She is such a talented singer and we are so appreciative that she gave us this opportunity."

"Our favorite part about our wedding was having all of our friends and family from all over the country come together to share this moment with us! The overall wedding was amazing! The band (Lucky Devils Band) did an amazing job during our Champagne social and our reception was rocking with our DJ Sasha B. Everyone who attended said it was the best wedding that they had ever been to."
Next, the couple is looking forward to a honeymoon at the top of 2023!
"We are also shooting a reality show right now called, 'Becoming Brunson', which follows our journey since the proposal in front of Adele.
"We are hoping to strike a deal with a streaming platform so that the show can be viewed by our friends in South Africa! Then eventually a puppy and kids are coming down the line."
